I am about to get 1 alpine 12'; type x and need advice on a good amp to power it?

I was wondering which would be a reasonably priced amp to power it. I want it to be really lous but i dont wanna blow it up. I would really want it to be louder than two type r's. do you think a alpine mrp-m850 is enough or should i get an mrd m1005. any other picks would be niceI am about to get 1 alpine 12'; type x and need advice on a good amp to power it?
just get any amp that pushes the rms that the sub can handle if the sub is 1000 rms then get a amp that runs 1000 rms this way you wont blow the sub but will have the best out of your sub good luckI am about to get 1 alpine 12'; type x and need advice on a good amp to power it?
Either one of those amps would work with that sub. The MRD-M1005 would work well with that sub. Another amp that would work would be the Alpine PDX-1.1000. It is a really nice amp if you are willing to spend some extra on it.

As long as you get the 4 ohm version of the sub and not the 2 ohm version then those amps would work well. The PDX-1.1000 would be able to work with both the 2 ohm and 4 ohm version of that sub. Good Luck!!!
Good amp with plenty of thump would be a Model: P300-1 rockford fosgate punch mono amp. that will push that alpine sub with no problems what so ever.
Look for CEA-2006 compliant amps that match the RMS and impedance (ohms) of the sub.
