I need advice . How do i get my boss to pay me?

i recently got a job. I still have not gotten a whole check. My boss owes me 756.00 dollars .I need the job but i also need the money. I have asked when is pay day and then he gives me a few dollars and says we will talk about soon. He can't run the business without me. i like the customers and i like the other ladys there. we all have the same problem. Any advice out there.I need advice . How do i get my boss to pay me?
Tell him you need to talk privately. Ask him why you're not getting a full paycheck. Go from there. It's important to get the facts.

If all else fails, call the state or federal fair labor board(In the phone book under gov't).

Good luck!I need advice . How do i get my boss to pay me?
File a complaint with the Labor department, your employor has to pay you on speicific dates normally.

AlAnd of course he can run his business without you, he was before he hired you and he will hire someone else after you.

When do the other employees get paid, ask them,
You need to contact your state labor board. What your boss is doing is illegal. They will take care of getting you paid.
a baseball bat to the knees and then get a new job
give him a two week notice saying you are starting a paying job even if you dont have one lined up, If you really are that important, he will pay and ask you to stay.
You may need a job, but it sounds like you don't need THIS job. If you are not being paid, you are a volunteer.

If you don't get a new job Pay Day may never arrive.

You must contact your local department of labor.

Look in your phone book or do a google search.
Threaten him with the police, tell him you'll call the cops and press charges against him and then tell him you'll take him to civil court for all the money he owes you (plus court fees) unless he gives you a FULL check.

My husband and I need pregnancy advice on how to get pregnant!?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past yr. and Im still not?! Help me PLEASE!My husband and I need pregnancy advice on how to get pregnant!?
How's Your Fertility?

Without ovulation, it is impossible to get pregnant, because the eggs stay tucked away in the ovary and can never meet up with an amorous sperm.

Without viable sperm, the whole baby thing will never get off the ground, so if you know when you鈥檙e fertile and ovulating and you鈥檙e making love at those times but aren鈥檛 getting any babies out of the deal, you may want to drive your sweetheart over to the urologist for a sperm count. Like women, men鈥檚 fertility can be affected by stress, fatigue, excessive heat, drugs and illness.

The NIEHS study found that, if intercourse occurs up to two days before or on the day of ovulation, the likelihood of pregnancy is 36%. Having sex between four and six days before ovulation lowers the statistical chance of getting pregnant to 10%. Sperm cells can live up to five days, but it less likely that old sperm will successfully fertilize the egg.My husband and I need pregnancy advice on how to get pregnant!?
I would call your doc. They will run tests and make sure that you are ovulating and they can check your egg count, etc. They might recommend that you go see an RE since you have been trying for over a year with no sucess.

Good luck.
i guess we are not the only one we have been trying now for a year an a half an still nothing i went till the docs an they told me it will take time i even had a scan done to make sure everything is ok. i hope it happens soon for you. good luck an dont give up.
Since it has been a year, you both should go and get checked to make sure both are OK and can have kids.

His swimmers might not be good or else your eggs might not be. It's best to get that out of the way first before doing anything else.

If his swimmers aren't good, then you might want to do in-fertilization where they will find some sperm that he has that are good and implant them in your egg and then into you.

Hope you don't have to do that.

Stats say that it takes the average women 6 months to get pregnant. But women are all different.

If you don't want to take big measures, then all you can do is just keep trying.

Have sex every other day. That is your best bet in getting pregnant and having sperm in you when you ovulate.

Sometimes we think we ovulate on a certain day but in reality we don't.

I wish you luck.
You must both discuss this with your doctor. There are tests that can be performed by both of you to ensure you are fertile.

The harder you try the more likely you are to remove an intimate time to checking the clock for a date with sex. That doesn't help and adds to the stress factor.

If you were on the pill for a long time your body may still be adjusting and it could take 2 years.
I have been ttc for 13 months. I would suggest going to your doctor. Your doctor will do some tests to determine what, if anything is wrong. If you are not getting a regular period and/or ovulating, there is medication your doctor can give you to help.

I would suggest keeping a calendar and writing down the dates you get your period, you ovulate and you baby dance. This will help the doctor know what is going on with your body. You should also buy ovulation predictor kits to know exactly when you are ovulating. I like the digital opks, since they are easy to read. No guessing whether one line is darker than the other. With the digital opk, a smiley face shows up if you are ovulating and an empty circle if you are not.

You can also buy a fertility monitor. They are expensive but worth it. I use the clear blue easy fertility monitor. After awhile it gets to know your body. It will let you know when you are going to ovulate and when you are ovulating.

Some people also check their body temperatures, but I have never done that.

Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!
well I see I'm not alone me and my husband been trying for the past yr. as well, I'm going to ck out some of ur answ. and see what info. others give. don't give up.

GOOD LUCK!
Go to the doctor - most doctors will start testing and treatment after one year of trying. Ask for infertility testing (thyroid, hormone levels, sperm analysis, etc). There are also some procedures that work for many women - such as an HSG (dye test).

You can also start tracking your basal body temp (check out fertiltyfriend.com for info). You can also try using ovulation predictor kits (sold by pregnancy tests in any store). Only about 20% of couples get pregnant in any one month of trying.

You can also check out the message boards at BabyCenter.com for support and advice from others in your same situation.

Good luck!
ok you have three options

1) get fertility drugs from the doctor

2)check your temp every day in the morning and when your temp drops ';do it' cuz your fertal

3)check your discharge (gross but nessassary)

if it streches far and is sorta sticky your fertal

good luck

What are some healthy ways to get over a break up, Christian advice very welcome?

Believe that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and that He knows exactly what you're going through. If you trust Him and obey Him, He will not let you down. He can give you peace and hope for your future.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,'; declares the LORD, ';plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Proverbs 3:5-6 With all your heart you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment. Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow. What are some healthy ways to get over a break up, Christian advice very welcome?
write a song about your faith, pray to God, know that He still loves you no matter what. God will get you through this, and reading the Bible will take your mind off of this breakup, and get you back into more important, spiritual things. Really, though, write a song. I write songs about my faith and other things all the time, and even if you can't sing, just reading the lyrics will make you feel so much better!

Bless you! What are some healthy ways to get over a break up, Christian advice very welcome?
Nothing of any importance can be taught. It can only be learned, and with blood and sweat.”

Robert Anton Wilson

Breaking up with the church is a good first step to a real relationship with God. Study all religions. Read all the arguments pro and con for each one and like a buffet pick and choose the parts that make sense to you. Religion is a map (albeit a somewhat outdated one that only points out the permanent points of interest) Spirituality is the territory. Do not mistake the map for the territory! Once you get there it'll be different from what the maps tell you 'cause you'll have your baggage along and be looking at it through your eyes not anyone else's. God's waiting for you but God is very patient God has all of eternity and so do you.
You could hang out with friends and go places like to the movies or out to a bar or bowling. The best thing is not to get depressed and have the time to think about the break up. The more fun you are having the better it will be to move on. You can go see a comedy club. You can go to the beach if there is one near you.
Don't jump into the next relationship you can, aka a rebound.

Don't cut off communication with the person you broke up with, even though from your standpoint it's easier, it's very unhealthy and damaging to you in the long run.

Try to keep your mind occupied at all costs, especially when you begin to think about your partner.

Try your hardest to keep from thinking, ';this reminds me of him/her...';, and enjoy everything you once did.

And if you disagree with me, you sir are worse than Hitler.
move on, cry your tears, but move on. The best way is to get back on the horse again, start going out with some girlfriends, find activities that take your mind off of him/her. Don't think about what could have been, what went wrong, what you could have done better. Get your closure and move on. Only you can get thru this, it is a personal experience, so grieve, mourn the loss of the relationship, but move on with your life, concentrate on the good. Best of luck
Do not sit at home and think only of them/him/her. Do not go where you two enjoyed hanging out. Get active with other people, other places. Time really is a good healer. Do not just expect the guy to return, it might not be the right person for ya.

Sit down and write a list of the kind of things you will only accept in a person

Write a second list of the things that could or could not be the most serious.

Stick to the list. My daughter says, rewrite the list periodically, as you mature and grow up, it will change.
I used aversion therapy. I used to picture my ex-husband, tall, blonde, and then picture him getting drenched in liquid human waste. Just thinking about getting close to that cured me. Twenty eight years later, that's still the picture that comes to mind if I think of him.
Well you know God is there for you (Christian advice ; ) ) and all you need is him to get through tough times and just spend time with your friends they always are there to comfort you and thats why you have friends to catch you when your down.
Do whatever it takes to make yourself good. Just don't turn to tubs of ice-cream and soppy love movies. Try hot baths and jogs. And if you have a dog, play with it. My dog always make me happy when I'm sad.

And remember that God will always be with you no matter what and he will never abandon you.

Good Luck

it doesn't have anything to do with being christian, you just need to tell the person it's not going to work out and that you believe that you will both do better going your separate ways
There's no guide to it really. With time, it will fade, during that time it's best to do things that might take your mind off it. Maybe find a new hobby.
What does being christian have to do with break ups?

Don't ask them about divorce, though. That's a touchy subject for them.

*rolls eyes*
Try and get your mind off it...watch movies, call up friends..just keep yourself busy. Also keep in prayer ask for God to help you through this time. Join a singles club thing at a church..they have them!
go out with your friends alot, try not to just sit around and do nothing becuase then you will end up thinking about the person. try and do things to keep your mind off of it.
Most importantly focus on yourself. Exercise, go do something to improve your house, or your car, get a new hobby

or go get really drunk and find some strange at the bar
Focus on what the Lord has for you. He has the perfect mate made just for you, ask Him for that person.
Get busy and fall in love with whatever you're getting busy with .
Stop dwelling upon your problems and turn your energy into service for others!
time fades ever thing . when your least expecting, a new window of opportunity will happen.
You could ask a few of your friends from church to go bowling or go shopping or just go out for a drive
pray for comfort and strength and after 2 mos consider dating again.
I told you not to bring up your beliefs. Just give it time. And maybe stop leaving pet rabbits in boiling water.
start seeing other guys or something
Think of it as a crumby job you interviewed for, but didn't get. Feel relief.
Go to church and pray I guess.
do nothing. lead your life in whatever way makes sense.
Bible time is the best time!
Get over it, there nothing you can do about it so why be sad?

  • Can I please get some advice?

I used to be with a guy but we broke up because, even though it was online and we had never met, i was married (not legally, just been together for 3 years) and my husband had found out.

Now i have my ex always after me, telling me how much he loves me still, in spite of everything.

My husband doesn't really show much affection and have not much in common, but i still remember how my ex made me feel, so happy and in love.

How should I handle this...what should i do?Can I please get some advice?
How can you call him 'husband' and hes actually NOT? Talk to your boyfriend and discuss things that are a problem in your relationship, if he doesn't change, then maybe you guys should say goodbye. good luck. Can I please get some advice?
Your situation is very confusing. Are you married? What do you mean by not legally? If you do not have a marriage license recognized by the court then by law you are not married. Why have you spent three years of your life in a completely unsatisfying relationship? Other than your online fling, have you ever been involved with this guy? It is obvious what you want to do. So, you are asking for permission to cheat on your ';husband'; of three years. You have two choices: honor your commitment or leave him and pursue a relationship with your ';ex'; whom you clearly have feelings for.
Stick with your husband. You made a commitment to him and you have an obligation to stand by that. You should make an effort to rekindle the fire. Relationships are up and down.. don't ditch it just because you're in a slump. It's definitely not worth abandoning because of an online relationship..
FIRST THINGS FIRST HE'S NOT YOUR HUSBAND SO YOU CAN LEAVE HIM AND IF THIS COMPUTER GUY IS CLOSE TO YOU AND YOU ARE ABLE TO MEET DO IT BECAUSE IF HE MADE YOU FEEL THE WAY YOU DID AND YOUR ';HUSBAND'; COULDN'T DONT HOLD BACK
If you're in the U.S. then that's not how common law marriage works. If you aren't in the U.S. then I have no idea.

Anyway it sounds like you don't even like this guy you are with, dump him and move on!
It was probably some fat old man on the computer getting his jollies off.

Can't download album art in my ipod-Any advice on how I can get all the artwork?

I have the names of the songs and artist but the album artwork does not appearCan't download album art in my ipod-Any advice on how I can get all the artwork?
You can do one of two things:

    1. Create an account on the iTunes website (click store and then account). After you do that, login to your account on the iTunes store on your iTunes window. Once you confirm your account, you can just right click onthe track and click ';Get Album Artwork';.

    OR

    2. You can click ';info'; on the track. Click the ';Artwork'; tab. Go to any search website and find the image of the album you want the right click and click ';copy';. After that, you go back to the ';Artwork'; tab and click ';paste';. Then click ok or done and your artwork should appear there!

Hope this helps ^__^Can't download album art in my ipod-Any advice on how I can get all the artwork?
Apple provides album artwork for the songs available in the iTunes Store. Go to the toolbar drop down menu Advanced and choose Get Album Art. A message will appear for songs that did not get album art. Those would be songs that are not found in the iTunes Store. For those songs you can copy album art from Amazon or Walmart, to name a few sources, and paste them in iTunes using File%26gt;Get Info%26gt;Artwork%26gt;Add%26gt;OK. You can also right click on other images from the web, import to iPhoto and go back to File%26gt;Get Info%26gt;Artwork%26gt;Add then choose the image from iPhoto. Another way to get artwork is take out the artwork from a CD, scan it to your computer and add that image file the same way, except not from iPhoto but your printer/scanner library.

When in iTunes and a song is highlighted and the song is playing, an artwork window is available in the lower left titled Now Playing and can be hidden using the up/down arrow next to the shuffle and replay buttons. If it's open and there is no artwork there, you'll see Drag Album Artwork Here. Dragging is an alternate method from using drop down menus.

Once the image is in iTunes, sync your iPod.

How to get items signed. not stalking. Please answer with good advice?

If u send an item to a sports stadium to get signed. Will it get signed if so how would you send it and all that stuffHow to get items signed. not stalking. Please answer with good advice?
I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but when I used to like the Jonas Brothers, I found out where they were going to be, hotels, events and appearances and I went to them. Over the past 3 years, I met them over 50 times! lol

You should try mailing like a photograph or something and seeing if the sports stadium will send anything back, nothing expensive because certain venues participate in that kid of stuff, some don't. Call the arena first and see what they do when they get packages from fans and check out how long it takes to get something back.

*If you want to do the hole stalking them thing, see where the next game is and see where all the celebrities stay in your area because they will most likely stay there. They're not going to stay in a crappy hotel, so it's your best bet.

Hope I helped! Good luck :)How to get items signed. not stalking. Please answer with good advice?
i doubt it is that easy u may have to go through lots more strees than just that simple way....hope u get through. =]

I want to get a 2200 or higher on my SAT. Any advice or links?

I have a 1790 in my SAT right now with a 690 in math and 550 in the critical reading and grammar. I want to know if you guys have any great online links or study guides that can really boost my score 400+ points.I want to get a 2200 or higher on my SAT. Any advice or links?
Don't pay for any classes! When I first took the SATs I scored in the 1700's, and paid for a course with Kaplan for approximately 900 dollars. This was a complete waste of my time and money. I found a guide off this unknown site called tutorfox.com. I used their review book, which cost me 10 bucks. Their book is extremely well written and covers all topics you need to know. In addition, I also used the Princeton Review's book to help me out. I went up to a 2300 by using both books. I would highly recommend them. The key to doing well on the SAT is practice. You must practice and keep on practicing until you have encountered all the types of questions on the test. Once you do this you will be able to ace the test.

The tutorfox guide can be found

Can I please get some advice on where you'd stay in NY City?

We like to go every few years. We're going in October this year...never been in the fall. We've already seen most of the major attractions, so we like to go and just walk the streets. Last time, we stayed right around Central Park and enjoyed getting away and roaming the park.

This time, I'm thinking of The West Village area. Maybe this hotel:

    http://www.washingtonsquarehotel.com/

I would love some advice. Can I please get some advice on where you'd stay in NY City?
We would love to help you plan your trip to see NY as a true New Yorker since you have seen all the major sights already.

The Washington Square Hotel is a great, quaint hotel. Can I please get some advice on where you'd stay in NY City?
NAH, I THINK EAST VILLAGE. THERES A LOT OF INTERESTING HISTORICS LEFT THERE. HURRY THOUGHT . I HEAR THEY ARE DISAPPEARING FAST AS N.Y.U. CAN LAND GRAB !!! IT'S A BIG POLITALLY HEATED DEAL IN THERE. PICK UP SOME ISSURES OF THE VILLAGE VOICE FOR KEEPERS SAKES . THEY MIGHT DIS APPEAR UNDER THE ARM PITS OF N.Y.U.S ';EXPANSION PLANS '; CHECK IT OUT THEN RETREAT TO THE WEST V . IF YOU WISH.
That depends on your budget. My advice, check the link below.

    Good luck

    Native New Yorker
The Village is a great place to walk around. I'm not familiar with the Hotel. You should be able to get plenty of reviews by Googling it.
Stay round ''times square'' (it's a tourist hot spot'') plent of hotels . then u go shopping @ SoHo then after that u go eat GROM in THE VILLAGE .

    (BEST ANS. PLZ)thnx
maybe the Trump Hotel or the Millinieum Hotel
anywhere for me thats away from dark alleys

Where can i get tax advice for someone who is re-patriating back to the UK?

Website is below and the specific part of the Inland Revenue you need to speak to is the Centre of Non-Residents (CNR).

However all that needs to be done first of all is for your friend to complete an Arrival in the UK form (P86) when he gets a PAYE job and this should be enough to get the correct tax code in operationto be correct.

Things can be simple in the Inland Revenue and any complications you can get advice from the CNR.Where can i get tax advice for someone who is re-patriating back to the UK?
the tax office themselves actually have a helpline where you can find out all you need in situations like this, just ring the main number and ask for itWhere can i get tax advice for someone who is re-patriating back to the UK?
lol from any english man seems we have to pay the bloody thing :P

lol nah best place is prolly some where in the government as there the people that enforce tax
    The INLAND REVENUE website xxxxxxx
Good luck with your advise so far!

I worked overseas for almost 15 years, Saudi, Egypt etc etc .

On arriving back in the UK I needed a UK income tax code, I applied for one, I eventually received a letter from Inland rev, they informed me that before giving me a tax code they had 'estimated' (how I don't know) that I owed 拢18K in unpaid UK taxes while I had been working overseas!!! Based on visits to the UK for unspecified periods of time, etc etc.

Complete gobbledygook! I couldn't understand a word of it!

I thought a change of plan was immediately called for and was ready to depart the UK again, very fast.

Instead I went to an accountant , he charged me 拢1K to sort it all out. I owed the Inland Rev nothing and got my new code.

The main problem here is that the Inland Rev' have proved you guilty in advance, you need to prove your innocence!

My advise is let them do their own thing then get an accountant onto it.

Good luck, do you really want to come back to the UK????

  • Do you want to give advice to people before they get a pet?

I would like to advize people to not get pets like they are toys. Owning and taking care of an animal is a responsibility. If you feel the same please add to this. I hate to see people get pets then decide they don't want them because their pet became a monster from lack of training or was inconvienient to their lifestyle. I know you are not supposed to use this for a forum but I would like to get the word out. If this is reported as abuse, I am sorry if I offended. My neighbores adopted a dog several weeks ago and he has just dissappeared. They said he barked and dug to much. I just hope they took him back to where they got him and didn't just dump him somewhere.

My Dad dumped my dog when I was a kid so I guess I am sensitive about the subject. Please learn to be a responsible pet owner before you get a pet. And also consider going to the pound to adopt a pet. some of them require special care but if you are a special, caring person, you may save an animals life.Do you want to give advice to people before they get a pet?
wow so it seems you feel very strongly about pets and how they should be treated. if so then there's nothing we can tell you because you said it all and very nicely i might add.Do you want to give advice to people before they get a pet?
Yeah I agree. Getting a pet is a big responsibility. You should always learn as much info as possible before buying any animal.
When someone talks about getting a pet I'll bring up the cost of being a pet owner and all the responsibilities that go with it. If that person still is interested then encourage them to go to a shelter in three months. That gives them time to think about it. You never want to rush into something like this. It's a lot of work but can be a wonderful part of your life.
No one should think of getting any kind of pet unless you have fully thought it through. If it's a dog or cat straight away it should be neutered, it is utter nonsense when people say that their dog or cat should have at least one litter. Also can you afford the vet bills, because as soon as your pet is 5months old it starts with injections %26amp; then anual boosters. Can you afford to take it to the vet if it's injured or ill, asking question about such things in places like this only gives you either stupid answers or they tell you to take it to the vet any way, if you think at any time your pet has a problem, TAKE IT TO THE VET. Can you afford the time to give your pet the attention it needs, can you give it the love it need %26amp; finally if you know nothing about the pet you want, read about it first, get as much information as you possibly can, there is no excuse claiming ignorance when things go wrong. Al pets, (if they are cared for properly.) will cost you a lot of time %26amp; money, as long as you are ready for all of this you should have years of very happy companionship with your pet.
95% of all people have no clue what owning a pet is all about, they own you and you are supposed to look out for them, I see tons of people do the lamest things ever to there pets, like keep them chained up in the back yard, leave them at dog day care every day, etc.. if u can't spend a ton of time with your dog, then don't bother getting one, that animal should be like your family and spend time indoors/out, and go on trips with you, and you should really interact with them almost like u would with a kid.. dogs are much smarter than we give them credit for being... I totaly agree with you and hope people grow up and take responsiblity for what they do !!!
If you don't have time to devote to an animal, you don't have the money for vet bills, you don't want to clean up the mess, you don't want to put up with the noise, then do not get one!
Most dogs end up in humane societies because of behavior problems, and the reason they have behavior problems is because their owner(s) didn't train them. When a new pup or dog is introduced into your household you should do two things: 1. Make a vet appointment. 2. Make an obedience training appointment.
make sure to potty train them or they will stain your carpet
Make sure you research the breed you want to get. Rescue a homeless pet before going to a breeder. Check out breeders. If they are breeding more than 2 different breeds and do not show their dogs...beware! Avoid puppy mills and petstores!

Read up on how much groomer the breed you want to get requires. I can't tell you how many dogs come in to me all matted because their owners didnt know how often their dog needed a hair cut or how often it needed combed out! 4-6 weeks on breeds such as Poodles, ShihTzus, Malteses etc.

Make sure you have enough money for food, vet bills, grooming etc. Start a bank account for your pet...it may need it one day.

I'm looking to get a dog and am deciding between a golden retriever or a lab...any advice?

I've had goldens in the past, and am also considering health issues. Thanks!I'm looking to get a dog and am deciding between a golden retriever or a lab...any advice?
They are both excellent dogs in general. It depends on their lineage what kind of personality they will have. Each breed has a list of possible health problems.

You wouldn't have the grooming costs with a lab.

I own 3 Labs. They are wonderful dogs. They need exercise everyday and obedience training.

As for the yellows being the most aggressive, that is bunk. I have a yellow female that is a lover. They say the chocolates are the dumbest of the 3 colors. Again a load of bunk. It all depends on the individual dog.

Choose which ever fits your lifestyle and personality the best.I'm looking to get a dog and am deciding between a golden retriever or a lab...any advice?
labs are fun but you HAVE to make sure you can give him good exercise they have alot of energy and if you do not walk him of give him plenty of time to run around he will burn his energy in other ways like tearing up anything he can find so bassicall if you dont let him burn off energy outside he will find a way to inside.. Goldens are much more calm but with any dog you get it needs good exercise if you want him to be a happy content dog
Golden Retriever, I own a Golden and he is a joy to have he is very intelligent, super friendly to everyone and other pets. Go for the Golden you won't be disappointed! Labs tend to run away, when I go pick up a dog at large (work) they are always Labs.
lab because they are great companions and they are obedient
Labs are puppies for a long time (more than twice as long as Goldens) but once they settle down, they're really great dogs. If you're willing to deal with that puppy stage, I'd say the breeds are pretty equal and you should judge based on the particular breeders you are considering. A healthy Lab beats an ill Golden (and vice versa) any day. If you're looking to adopt, same deal - go to the rescues and meet the dogs and take the one you fall for home with you.
Both bright lovable dogs. The Lab. gets my vote based on my experience. I grew up with a yellow that was part fiest and he was extreemly loyal playful and lived a long healthy life.I guess I am a mutt guy.

I must admit some degree of ignorance of goldens but the long hair bugs me.
Lab all the way. Labs were bred to be gentle and calm. I'm not saying that it won't need training, and it will still be a puppy, but as it gets older it will calm down and be much more managable. Retrievers are some what of air heads. They are harder to train and much more hyper, and that lasts long into adult hood. They require at least one walk a day, or you will suffer, and if you go with one, be sure to get a halti, also. with labs you don't have to worry about them not eating. Retrievers sometimes just won't eat. For like a day, then they'll eat again. Its weird. Anyway, get a lab.
Ultimately, you have to get the dog that will make you happy. However, for me, this is an easy one - Labs seem to have far fewer health problems than Goldens. Sorry, so many lines of Goldens seem to have poor immune systems, so many of them get cancer. I'd rather deal with a Lab. Know if you're getting a dog from a show line or a field line (not recommended unless you're going to do field trials). Good luck.
Ahh - the mighty question of whether or not to get a Lab. Well, I am owned by 2 female chocolate Labs and even run a website specifically devoted to the Lab Retriever breed. I have some great articles on the Labrador Retriever breed that you may find below. More specifically though is my article on ';Is a Lab Right for You?'; at: http://www.8pawsup.com/articles/labsfory鈥?/a>

Please read this articles thoroughly before getting a Lab. Many people think they are not a lot of work when it is the opposite.

PS - dont listen to anyone that tells you that Lab colors make a difference on their personalities or ability to be calm or smart. Those people are listening to myths. Trust me as I am a Lab expert and write articles about the specific dog breed for multiple publications.
I have heard that Retrievers are more calm than Labs..I once had a lab I know for a fact that the first 2 years of a labs life is hard because they are really wild, if you are to get a lab, the chocolate labs are calmer and the yellow labs are the most aggressive...trust me I know, I have done a lot of research on this before...

    Hope that helps :)
Golden Retrievers tend to be more nice and calm.I would get this dog if you had kids. But a Lab is a nice dog also.Either way you will have a nice loveable dog.

Gotta get rid of my truck and get a car!! Any advice?

I got stuck with a 2001 Dodge Ram truck when I filed for divorce. I owe $13,000 and it's got about 92000 miles on it. It'll be paid off in 3 years, but it seems like the tranny's and it shimmy's like crazy at 50mph. I need to get into a car, but how can I do it without totally screwing myself again?? I have good credit, but no $ at this time to put down.Gotta get rid of my truck and get a car!! Any advice?
There's a reason that people trade their cars as opposed to selling them: It's hard to sell a vehicle.....especially a 100k Ram in today's up and down oil economy.

You can trade easily. You'll be upside down, but if you roll the negative equity into a car that depreciates slowly or one that you'll be in for 4-6 years, it won't matter. It's best to put some dough down, but it's not always an option.

Find a car that you like that has amazing resale value, Accord and Camry comes to mind, but I don't know what you want. since you're gonna have to be in it for a while (to give you time to pay for the neg/eq, go ahead get something you really like).

    Cars to avoid:

    Ford anything

    Dodge/Chrysler anything

    Any GM car

    Suzuki anything

    Hyundai anything

    Kia anything

These are all cars that have atrocious resale value....on the order of 40-60% the FIRST YEAR!!! Stick with the Japanese or European models, but Japanese is REALLY your best bet.Gotta get rid of my truck and get a car!! Any advice?
I agree with Victor ~ sell the truck privately . It sounds like you owe way too much for what you describe, a dealership probally won't give you the pay off on it. When selling it , I would sugest you sell it on the basis of '; buyer assumes payments '; Basically, the buyer will take over the payments, the truck will show on your credit as Paid in full, and you would be free to finance a small car- alot of dealerships finance with no money down if you credit is good enough. Good Luck!
The shake and shimmy is just the tires....Get em fixed or get new ones.

I'm thinking that the truck isn't worth 13K, but not sure. I'd recommend that you get a good, used car...or maybe a new Civic, or Focus....something like that. Just shop around....get dealers to give you their best price on something else. DON'T jump at the first few ';deals'; that they offer you. There's LOTS of cars and deals out there.

Check the value of your truck before you start shopping. Use the blue book guide. If you email me with the specifics, I'll look it up for you.
Sell the truck, privately if you can (Dealers usually give very low $)

buy a small car, maybe 3 or 4 years old, with the least options that you can find, that gets good gas mileage. Less options mean less repairs. Small car can be good transportation. You may not be made whole with the money, but, you will be out less. One time I got rid of a big pickup and paid for the small car I got instead just with the savings in gasoline. Also, stick shift cars are hard to sell (so you can usually get them cheaper).

well i duno what you do normally but try giving him a hand job or give him head. that'll turn him on just go down on him when he least expects it. dress to impress, buy something new that he has never seen before and make him want you. touch each other a lot and that will turn you on aswell obvs. does he have a weak spot like his ears or something like that? go for it if it works. don't give him it for age and he'll get really horny really quickly when you come on to him after leaving it a week or two

hope it helps xHow can I get my BF horny? (GUYS ONLY) Girls if they have good advice.?
well you do go all the way right? because it's not fair to guys if you get them horny and then it's only a tease..

so what i do is i kiss his neck and ears, he goes crazy for that if i do it really slow and sensually. smelling good is always a plus, make sure everything is soft: lips, skin, hair. when your lips taste good it also gives an extra burst of excitement. i also like to bite his earlobe gently and his lower lip. maybe whispering something naughty in his ear?
    (1) take him to a place where you can be alone with him

    (2) sit next to him and touch him

    (3) say something sexy to him or take his hand and make him touch your boobs or your other places

    (4) ask him about having sex

    (5) kiss him and sit at his thing

if it didnt work then i am a loser
    1. dress slinky.

    2. lick your lips a lot.

    3. touch your ';places'; a lot

    4.moan a lot

    5. wrap yourself around him.

    6. touch him near his places.

  • I want to get back to work now my daughters are older but feel like its been too long. Any advice?

I have been a single mum for many years and now my 3 beautiful daughters are older and doing their own thing I want to go back to work. I used to do office work which I enjoyed a great deal, have done bar and shop work but my self-esteem is a little low right now and a lacking of confidence. Do you think any firms would want to employ an ';older woman'; who has been out of work for so long. I like to think I have a lot to offer but would they. Help.I want to get back to work now my daughters are older but feel like its been too long. Any advice?
All you need to realise is that you have single handedly been a finance manager , an entertainments officer, a full time caterer and a head of household!!! Take details from your personal life and transfer them into an office - yyou will be brilliant - when you ananlyse what you do on a daily basis you will be amazed how quickly your confidence will grow and belive me, employers love mature employees!! Good luck - go get 'em!!I want to get back to work now my daughters are older but feel like its been too long. Any advice?
You should not worry about not having the right ';management'; skills. Being a single mum to 3 is harder than any office job. As people have said below, just think of your skills in managing the household successfully and put them in a work context.

There are laws against age discrimination now.

Read a book on interview skills. There are tips on how to give good answers in many situations. I have just done this and it's really worth the 拢10 for the book. You can probably borrow from the library if you don't want to buy.

Confidence is a BIG factor. If you can prepare well, you will feel good and confident and will find something

    Good luck
First is to brush up on what you're good at and zoom into it. So long as you're willing to take on challenges there isn't anything impossible.
Sign up to an employment agency - they will find you the odd day's work to build up your confidence. Or sign up to a part time College Course - there are some really cheap ones that allow you to brush up on the computer packages that are popular in offices these days (I recently did a CLAIT Course which cost 拢30 for 100 hours of classroom/computer time, there were all ages there were 16 year olds through to retired people, and you could pick the days and times you want proving you did a set number of hours each week. At the end you come away with a proper certificate saying you know how to use the packages).
You could also do some voluntary work - many charities need admin support. This would give you a supportive environment in which to brush up your skills, especially IT (which is essential in an office nowdays). In my organisation, we have supported 3 women in this way over the past 18mths and they are all now in paid employment. Contact your local Volunteer Centre.
You might want to take a short course to brush up on your office skills. Possibly a computer course, which would give you a chance to meet a few people, get you into a social scene, and build your confidence. When you start to interact with others your self esteem will increase.
You have plenty to offer an employer. In my experience, the more mature lady is usually more reliable and willing to work, and take a pride in what she does. Dont put yourself down - raising kids is a task in itself and one where you have to have your wits about you. Go for it and good luck. Enjoy whatever it is you find to do.

i think it's a good idea because it keeps down there nice and clean for us girls but you don't have to shave it all off off you could shave it to a nice safe level if need but it's up to you reallyCan i get some advice from a female?
I'll tell you the bad first.

Cuts hurt like a mother if you nick yourself.

Once you shave the hair comes back thicker and more wiry.

It itches really bad once the hair starts growing back for the first couple of times.

    The good.

Personally I think it makes sex feel different.

Nice while on your period. Pads don't stick to you and it's more hygienic.
I've heard many different things about this subject. I've heard that shaving it all isn't the most suggested because the hair is there to protect and ward off bacteria. While at the same time, proper grooming is necessary as well. If you don't fear razor burn or a prickly annoyance when it's growing back I would go for it.
it will be prickly and itchy when it grows back jsyk.

but fist put shaving cream down there, use a new razor!, then shave with the grain, personaly i shave up, and it only lasts a day!

    :)
About advice can be read in http://wikipedia-health.blogspot.com/?q=advice
my advice is that dnt use any hair removers to shave it.Remove it very carefully with shaving blade.

be carefully because that parts are very sensitive
you will not die but good thing is that all the hair would be gone bad is that it might be ichy for some people
I'm a guy. Some broads cut their labia when shaving down there, so be careful.
it will get itchy. the main bad thing but you will feel cleaner. just be care ful not to cut yourself
ummm.... you would then resemble a nine year old.... 0.o whyy do you want to shave it all off?
    you will DIE!!!

dude you definitely need to be 21yrs complete for marriage. ';The bridegroom should have attained the age of 21 years and the bride should have attained the age of 18 years at the time of marriage.'; for the marriage to be valid as per the hindu marriage act. besides i would request you to look at your relationship with different perspective as there is quite an age gap considering the fact that your girl friend is elder. I do not want to repeat, but hasty decisions taken at this age may prove wrong so be careful and take guidance of your elders. all da best.Want to get married? think twice before you get married.....dont regret later.

I can understand the situation but the huge age diff: b/w u and her, especially you are just 20 (immatured) can cause problems.......

I am not saying that its a bad decision.........

Think and think and take a desicion, then love and protect her always.
Where do you live? I have never heard of having to be 21 years old to get married. You usually only have to be 18 to get married without your parents permission.
20 and 29 your old enough to do wat you want without asking permission

I would like to get good advice by good plastic /cosmetic surgeon?whom to contact for a good advice?`?

please tell me who to conatct.as i am need of a cosmetic surgery/plastic surgery like rhinoplasty etcI would like to get good advice by good plastic /cosmetic surgeon?whom to contact for a good advice?`?
Get rhinoplasty surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

I recommend you to check the best selling book ';The UIltimate Guide to Plastic Surgery Abroad';, buy it on Ebay, it has the costs for every surgery in the world, and the personal email from a lot of surgeons that answer your questions for free.
I bought this great book on Ebay with lots of information. Really worth it. You can get it at http://cgi.ebay.com/ULTIMATE-GUIDE-TO-PL鈥?/a>
Do a web search on cosmetic surgeons in your area - always check thyeir qualifications and credentials. Also check their work by looking at their before and after galleries and make sure they are registered with the appropriate institutions/boards etc.

Where can I get free legal advice on the internet?

Any free legal advice on the internet is probably worth exactly what you are paying. There are lots of lawyers that do not charge for the initial consultation, try one of them.Where can I get free legal advice on the internet?
    You can't.

Legal advice will be specific to your individual requirements. The best that you can get, for free, on the internet is some general assistance and pointers. The reason is that a lot of (potentially) personal info would need to be gathered in order to give you specific advice that is tailored to your needs.

There are places that you can visit on the internet that offer advice comparatively cheaply. You would, however, be far better off either seeking advice under the Legal Aid scheme (see link for providers in your area within the range that you require) or having a word with the CAB or some similar advice agency (e.g. Shelter).Where can I get free legal advice on the internet?
    That depends.....

Do you want it to be GOOD advice OR BAD advice?

If you want bad advice, anyone can give you that.

If you want good advice, you can't get that on the Internet. WARNING!

Suggestion: Call your local (usually county) bar association. Ask them for names of attorneys that handle your type of matter. (Don't tell them all the little details - save the details for your new lawyer.)

When you call the law office(s), ask to speak to the Attorney. Do NOT tell all of the little details to the Secretary that answers the phone. Repeat that you wish to speak to the Lawyer. When you get the Attorney on the phone, ask him/her #1 first thing:

    - how much is the fee?

    - do they have a free first initial consultation?

    - do they take payments?

    - can they help you? OR refer you to someone who can help you?

I'm looking to get a divorce can anyone share some advice?

Ok I am looking to unfortunately get a divorce but I need some advice n how to go about this. Here's the situation...I live in Florida and my husband lives in NC. We got married in California which neither of us have ever lived there...only visited and in the heat of the moment got married. We have no children and really no assets that we share together. Where and how do I get this divorce going without spending a ton of money. If at all possible would love to avoid a lawyer. Thanks!I'm looking to get a divorce can anyone share some advice?
it will be so simple because you dont have children or assets. If both of you agree on the divorce it makes it a peice of cake. In WV you can get a divorce like that for 500 dollars. Call your local lawyers and get more infoI'm looking to get a divorce can anyone share some advice?
When I got my divorce, I just went to the lawyers office (carry a witness with you, I took my mom). You have to wait a year after the marriage. He and I didn't have any children or assets either. It only cost me $450 for the divorce and last name change. You can call around and find out what the fee is for a divorce. Some lawyers are very reasonable than others.
    Is he agreeable?

Then get papers on line, or at a county court house, fill them out, with the null set sign in all areas, file at the court with both of your signatures, pay the fee, and it's over, for just the cost of the filing fees and the papers. You will then each receive thru the mail a set of signed papers, signed by a judge, with the date that you again become a single person.

    Helpful? More?
If you are the one doing the filing, I am quite certain it will be either Florida or California. Not sure which. Many attorney's have websites where you can ask a question and receive an answer via e-mail for a few dollars. This should get you started.

Do any of camera boffins out there know what I should go for. I would like an entry level digital camera with a wide angle lense - can some please point me in the right direction with regards to makes and models.

Thanks.I would like to get an SLR camera - advice please...?
Wasn't sure what I wanted myself but after some research and going into the stores to get a feel for the cameras I settled on the Canon XSI (aka 450D). Lots of good reviews, #1 bestselling DSLR on amazon.

You should decide for yourself though, because going on recommendations of others is a good idea, but its hard to tell from just that. Do what I did, read some reviews, do some research (on both the camera and the lenses you may want to buy) and you'll figure it out.

You will probably need to buy a wide angle lens separate though.I would like to get an SLR camera - advice please...?
am a Nikon person. I have used Nikon since the 70s and the first Nikon SLR I ever bought still functions as well today as when I bought it.If you are goind digital SLR then right now Nikon is giving much better high ISO performance with low noise.

For people getting thier frist DSLR I usually recommend the D40. I have a Nikon D40 and I love it. The D40 has a full manual mode, Flexible progam, aperature priority, shutter priority modes. These are the same modes on all DSLR. It also has several other programed modes for things like portrait, night, children etc. As a photographer improves and learns to use metering better these additional modes seldom get used so they are usually found on the more amature cameras and seen as not needed on the professional cameras. I feel I have a fair amount of experience as a photographer and it performs well for me but I can give it to my 12 y/o grandson if set on program and he can get good usable pictures as well. His photography is improving as he is already learning to use many of the functions himself ( yes I'm a proud granpa) .

I also would not get caught up in the megapixel hype and instead look at the entire sensor issue. Look at the article I linked below The D40 will do everything a beginner to intermediate photographer needs at a great price. It comes with an 18-55 lens. It will let you use any other money to buy more accessories. And by the time you outgrow it cameras will have advanced to the point that most of what is on the market now would be obsolete. I bought a D300 last year and only had a it a few months when the D700 came out. The canon would also serve you well but I am a Nikon person so I suggest them. I have friends that are very happy with thier canon's and take great photos. You will have others that like Pentax and Olympus and they are not bad cameras but if they were in the same ballpark you would see many more professional photographers use them
An affordable and really good camera is the Nikon D40x which is different from the D40 because it has a 10mpx sensor instead of just 6, allowing you to make bigger prints if you wish.

Nikon is also good because you can use the majority of the old analog lenses( that you can find pretty cheap second hand nowadays)

Naturally all this staff is digital but if you meant film cameras saying SLR (people refers to digital ones as dSLR) I can suggest you the Olympus OM1 with a good ZUIKO lens, a damn good camera at an incredibly cheap price.

Sorry for my wonky english but i hope to have been helpful in any case

    Bye!
I can recommend the canon eos 450d. I just love mine and its so easy to use. Your best bet would be to go into a camera store and have a hold of the camera to see what it feels like to you, we can recommend camera's that we like but we are not you.

    Good luck

Well. I'm not fat, but I have a tummy coming on. And I really want to get rid of it. I've been doing some research as to what I should do. But does anyone have any ideas on something that I can do to get rid of it. I could really use the advice. Thanks.Advice on how to get rid of tummy?

Cardio and proper diet. Run, jog, ride a bike anything that gets your heart rate up for a min. of 15 minutes. As you continue to train your endurance will go up and you will be able to go further faster. Your metabolism will speed up causing your body to burn calories faster and you will shead any unwanted weight.
I have a balance ball that I use to do sit ups. It's really nice and helps build your core without strain on your back.

Plus you can do so many exercises on the ball!
    Crunches.
the treadmil or eliptical machine works well
Walking, sit-ups, hula hoop etc. All these will help. If you ';have a tummy coming on'; and you're a woman, you might also want to rule out pregnancy. I knew a woman who didn't find out she was pregnant until the 6th month of her pregnancy (and she wasn't fat! she just didn't show that much).
    Do some crunches every night.
    EAT LESS CARBS!

    (trust me it works!)
i started doing 300 crunches every other day about a week ago and i can all ready feel my stomach getting harder
try walking up the stairs instead of taking the elevator and on top of that, engage in less eating at nights and more fun stuff during the daytime, football with friends and kids is a good way to burn tummy fat.

and if no time available for that, there is good old abdominal situp and pushup exercises, or pillates.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.

eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.

5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.

8 glasses of water a day.

4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.

no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)
theres no point doing sit ups if u hav a layer of flad covering ur mucles, so do about 10-20 mins cardio about 3 times a week. and do 20-50 sit ups a day. so that way the flab will go and the mucles will get toned.(hope this helps)
Well an AB-LOUNGE works so freakin well. I had a kid and now I have a super flat tummy, plus it is easy, but the only down side is that they are I think between $150 and $200, you can get them at wal-mart now. Or one of the best exercises you can do for your tummy is to sit on the very edge of a chair, hold the chair either beside your legs or the arms and lean way back without letting your feet touch the floor, bring your legs into you. Works good for your arms and upper thighs too. And you can do it while you are watching tv without thinking about it.
I just think that you need to work out, and when you do put a girdle on. That is what my husband is doing and its working for him!

Is it possible to get decent answers and advice on this site?

Seems like it's all a bunch of smarta$$ kids calling each other names and making fun of everyone. What's the value in that?Is it possible to get decent answers and advice on this site?
As with any other public gathering place, the Internet is a microcosm of society. Unfortunately, the degradation of the rules of social interaction is much more visible here, as the anonymity factor comes into greater play. People who would never say the kinds of things we read on the 'net feel much more free to say them here.

But yes, you can sometimes get decent answers, with the occasional tidbit of information that you never knew, from Yahoo! Answers.

You just have to look for the people who were brought up properly by their parents, who have a modicum of intelligence, and who are willing to share their knowledge freely. Someone, somewhere, has or knows what you need. The trick is finding them.

HTHIs it possible to get decent answers and advice on this site?
It is, but rarely. Lately it seems there are more and more kids here who just want to chat and are looking to hook up -- violations of the guidelines. I don't know if reporting them will help because it's like shoveling against the tide. But when you see those chatty questions ('am i hot?' 'will you be my friend?' 'do you like peanut butter?') you report them as abuse.
    report them
Turn in the ones who are asking vulgar and idiotic questions and answers and just maybe we can clean this site up and make it a useful place to talk.

As was indicated above, contact legal aid services for Kentucky. You also might investigate to determine if any law schools there have a legal clinic. Legal clinics are staffed by law students under the supervision of an attorney and offer legal services to the indigent.

PLEASE do not contact the listing above for prepaid legal, etc. Among other reasons, generally you can't get help for an existing legal condition, and the payments they make on your behalf to an attorney will not always cover the cost.Seeking free legal advice. I want to start my own Solar Panel company any advice out there on how to get started.?

I have a little advice for you. You need to plan this out well if you want to do it right. Here are a few decisions that you need to make first:

Are you going to be a full service company, offering sales, installation, and repair? Or are you just going to sell them and have somone else install them? Or do you plan to build them and sell them?

If you are simply going to sell them and then contract to someone else to install them then it is all pretty simple. All you have to do is get your Business License(From the City you will run your business in), state and federal tax ID with ';EIN'; or Employer Identification Number,(You get this from the State Tax Commission) with your sales tax license.

Next you need to find a supplier for the panels you want to resell. This might be the hardest part because you either have to pay cash for them or find someone that will extend you a line of credit with no credit history. The latter may be impossible. The ideal scenario would be if you have some personal capital to invest into the business.

The last part, is you need to find a good installer that will give you reasonable pricing for repeat business. Once you have all of that, then you are ready to start the sales part...

-If you plan to install them yourself then you need all of the above plus quite a bit more. You should really be a licensed and insured electrician. I recommend getting some experience with someone else before you set out on your own. I would consult a business insurance sales person to make sure you have the proper workers comp, and liability insurance to protect your business.

This is just a start.. I hope this helps!

My new parakeets dont get aong with my old one. Any advice?

i had 2 male parakeets (green and blue) and they were best buddies. and the green one died so we got 2 new yellow femals parakeets. but the problem is that both of the yellow parakeets dont get along with the blue one. the yellow ones always sit and eat toghether and groom each other, but the blue one always sits by himself and when the yellow ones come close to him, he pecks them and makes them get out of his way. what should i do?My new parakeets dont get aong with my old one. Any advice?
Definitely get a new cage and separate them. The older parakeets got along most likely because they were put together right when you got them? The Blue parakeet now feels like the dominant bird in the cage but it is well known that female parakeets are pretty aggressive. I would suggest splitting them up but putting their cages next to each other so they can interact and this takes out your risk that they might get aggressive towards each other... after time you might want to see if they can co-existMy new parakeets dont get aong with my old one. Any advice?

first of all, how long have they been with U? because I got parakeets about 2 months ago and they hated eachother and 2 think that now they are having babies! just leave them alone for a little while. they'll get used 2 each other sooner or later.
seperate them before they hurt eachother. which one do you really want?
Your bird is grieving for the bird that passed , why don';t you seperate them . Or find another bird for the one that is lost without his friend.
Get another cage and separate them.
Buy another cage so they won't do what they are doing. P.S. Did you teach them to talk? If so you are trouble.
    i have the same problem
Your blue parakeet attacks them because he's lived there for so long and two new birds come along and live in his cage all of a sudden, he's probly protecting his territory. hes probly quiet and lonely because his friend had died and misses him just wait a few days he will go back to his old self and get used to the new parakeets
    Buy a new cage.

Birds are very territorial, and it's not likely that your old ones will ever accept your new ones. You should never, EVER introduce new birds into a cage that already has birds in it.

Put the new girls in their own cage, and let the old bird live out his life in peace. That's really all you can do.

Depressed by debt amount but ready to fight and get some help to rebuild my financial life. Please help need advice, tips any information useful for me. God bless all of the people that would kindly answer my question without insulting me. Note that I live in Canada so take that into account in you help and informatonsPlease help with advice, tips . How to get out of Debt.?
I would just add a couple things. First, congratulations on asking for help. Plenty of debt here in the US and many keep their heads in the sand. I agree with the credit card advice. Credit cards are only for true emergencies! Not the new TV, etc.

You can get a second job to generate more income and/or cut expenses. Sell whatever you don't need at a garage sale. If you have a high car payment, sell it and pay cash for a used vehicle.

Perhaps sell your house, move to a cheaper apartment. Just look at all your expenses....good luckPlease help with advice, tips . How to get out of Debt.?
I don't know the rules or laws in Canada regarding debt but some of this is applicable no matter where you live.

If you are only paying the minimum payment on credit cards, you will be in debt forever. Credit card minimum payments are really set up to keep you in debt. The bank is charging you interest every month, after all. The less you pay, the more interest they get to charge you next month.

As hard as it may be, you are going to have to cut back somewhere and start paying more off every month on those credit cards. Whatever you can afford to pay over the minimum payment is going to help.

Do NOT charge any more on the cards. The last thing you want right now is to increase your debt. Take the card with the highest interest rate and start paying as much as you can on it. Even if it's just an extra $20 a month. Once you start paying extra on them, you'll see the total amount owed start to go down faster and faster. Once you have that first one paid in full, take a deep breath and congratulate yourself on a job well done and start on the next one. All the money you were sending to the one you just paid, you now add that to the minimum payment on the next one. Obviously, you have to make at least the minimum payment on all of them every month but work on one of them at a time and get them paid off.

If they all have the same interest rate, start with the one with the lowest balance.

Get yourself on a budget. Look around at what you're spending money on every month and figure out where you can cut back until you get this under control.

It's not a lot of fun for a while but the sense of satisfaction you get when you get these paid off will be so worth it.

Then you'll be able to start taking some of that money and save it or invest it so that the next time you want a new CD player or something, you'll have the money to pay for it in case and won't go into debt again.

    Good luck.
Seriously, you need to pay off your debt, that is the only way out, if your debt is so bad, then call a debt program and see if they can help you.
I think the following article should help you. You can visit the website to know more about the article:

My dog will not shut-up any advice on how to get him to be quite?

he has been barking for 2 hours straight I have done every thing i

know how to get him to shut-up it started when he saw me eating when i was done he was still barking!

he is bored and wants you to play with him. u ether spoil him too much so he expects atention all the time or dont give him enough attention if hes in a kennle and barking he wants out just ignore him you cant let him win because he is testing on how far he can go with u if hes just barking he probly want to play if he barks then a couple of minutes later he has an ';accident'; then he probobly wants to go outside good luck

Get a spray bottle and squirt him. It worked for my cocker spaniel years ago, may he now rest in peace. I sprayed him once, then all I had to do was show him the bottle.
A sponge soaked in bacon grease is effective. Although it may take a few days for the full results....
My dogs are in a routine that after dinner I will go outside and play with them. If I'm too busy all that play energy has to come out somehow...usually as barking. Really try to spend some time physically excersising your dog. Fetch games really work for mine as I have a long yard and can throw toys for them to run after. I guarantee you will find him blissfully quiet and sleeping (and healthier!) in no time.

    Good luck!
Well, sometimes the nose is a sensative spot for dogs so if you tap him on the nose sometimes that works. More drasticly, if he or she still doesn't stop spray him with a squirt bottle in his face. Put it on a strong mist though because i doubt you want to hurt him. Mostly its effective.
    See the question ';Is this cruel to my dogs? ';
use a water gun or spray bottle ,but just a little squirt of water on them,it worked for my girlfreind.

I have a huge fear of needles and I have to get a shot next week. Any advice?

I've always hated needles. In fact, my ears aren't even pierced. The last time I got a shot was about 10 years ago, and I was so little, I don't remember much, except the awful pain.

    Any advice?

I'm terrified.I have a huge fear of needles and I have to get a shot next week. Any advice?
From my experience, most people's fear of needles comes from childhood. Some people have not having a shot or blood drawn since they were a child. As kids, shots/needles are traumatic for us, especially since we are so little and the needle is so big.

As adults, shots/needles don't hurt, but it is our memories of childhood shots that fuel this fear. I wouldn't worry too much, just don't look at the needle or watch them administer it. Consider it an accomplishment.I have a huge fear of needles and I have to get a shot next week. Any advice?
    Happy Thoughts
I have to get a shot next week too, and I'm scared out of my mind. My friends who have already gotten the shot have told me to look away from the needle and think of something else to take your mind off of the shot.
I'm scared of needles and pokes, too. I just got 4 shots in one day recently. The best thing to do is to not look at the needle and to just get it over with. Don't think about it too much. Try to distract yourself with a joke. Before you know it, your shots will be done.

    Hope this helps!! :)
To tell you the truth the first time i went to get a shot I was scared, but I remember I looked right at the needle as it went in and saw how little they actually penetrated the skin and it wasnt that bad. Now every time I get a shot I always look directly at the needle go in and notice that it barely goes in and its fine. If you can get the courage to look right at the needle you might just find that there is nothing to be scared of. Good luck, i know this can be a terrifying moment for some.
I give others shots every day and myself one every other week. Rather than telling my patients to ignore it's happening, having them fully aware of it seems to help more. My best advice is to keep in mind that the needle is sterile, the damage to your flesh is purposeful, beneficial and superficial and the pain is only temporary. (And very short lived, at that.)

Personally I find it more comfortable to slowly push the needle into the skin rather than ';playing darts'; like nurses are taught. I don't know if your healthcare provider will do it, but you have the right to ask if you wish.

Note - Pain is our ';early warning system'; and actually helps us prevent our bodies from suffering worse injuries. (Like the people born without pain receptors that suffer terrible scarring because they can't tell when to pull hands away from hot utensils, etc.)
i love needles but that doesnt help you,

you could be asleep when it happens,

but you need another needle for that,

    so that doesnt help,

    honestly needles never hurt,

they have alot of bad publicity,

    trust me, youll be ok
well u can just close your eyes andthink of it being a nice dog about to leap into you arm. or just go to a happy place think about someone u like. but i prefer the dog one.
Its alot worse in your mind than it actually is.. perhaps do some deep breathing exercises before to try calm your nerves.. i always find it helps if i look away and close my eyes so i cant see whats going on.. good luck! If your phobia is really bad you could try hypnotherapy.
me too; convince yourself to just take the pain. its never as really bad as all the tensing up leads you to believe it is. make believe your taking this one as a matter of life or death; in retrospect you may be
take some one with you and just breath.......I have a needle phobia so bad i will pass out.....but just recently i had a baby and that phobia went out the window......So i know how horrible it is to have this problem....I took my mom with me burried my face in her arm and just breathed. I had my mom talk to me too about things that were caliming to me. think of things that are calming to you. also tell the doctor or nurse that you have this phobia and it is really bad. lots of people have it so they are used to it.
If your mom or dad comes with you (this is gonna sound really kiddy but hey, no one else will know right?) bury your face in their arm during the shot.

Tell the doctor not to count to three before she gives you the shot.

Take deep breaths: In 1,2,3 out 1,2,3. Count it out in your head.

Relax your muscles so the needle doesn't make them sore.

Hope this helps! It works for me : ]
I myself am not afraid of needles, but here's some suggestions. Look at something else not the needle, don't tense up b/c thats the worse thing you could do, think of something else other than the needle, etc.
Ask your dr. for a skin numbing cream or disc called EMLA.

    ';Emla Anesthetic Disc';
Hi my Dad has same fear what he dos is tell doctor about fear so the doctor is informed and then look in a different direction from person how is giving the injection. He says when he dos that he doesn't even notice the needle.and he is Phobia level with the fear of needles.so i hope that helps you out.
on monday i have to get like 3 shots

and i really dont wanna go!

but im trying to think positive about it

and just think of good things instead
    1) ask them to numb it with liquid nitrogen so that you don't feel the needle poke you and 2) keep your eyes closed til you are done.
tell the doctor to put you asleep or laughing gas

  • Has anyone had Adenoma on their pituitary gland. Any medication or advice to get rid of?

My endocrinologist says about 15% of the adult population has some form of a pituitary adenoma, with the vast majority being tiny benign microadenomas that do not cause any problems and would never be found except as incidental findings now that CT %26amp; MRI scans have become so common.

You need to talk to an endocrinologist. There is nothing the average person can do to change the size of an adenoma they might have. You can not even monitor the size of the adenoma without having MRIs done once every year or two. good luck

A vagan is just a strict vegetarian but with the absence of all animal products like milk, cheese and any animal by-product. If you have been successful as a vegetarian you should really not have any health problems as a vegan.I'm a vegetarian, know I want to be a vegan does any one have advice for me to get all my nutrient?
    take vitamins
Oh, a vegetarian that eats fish ! You had better read up on the philosophy of vegetarianism. Hmmm. You are confused.
Why would you eat fish? Why not nuts, milk, cheese...

You werent a vegetarian to begin with.

Any advice for someone who is really scared of needles and has to get 3 shots today?

Im really scared cuz i have to get 1 later, any advice? If it does go in ur butt, do u stand up? or sit down? do u have to undress?Any advice for someone who is really scared of needles and has to get 3 shots today?
just sit back and close your eyes, they are over so quickly and the pain is very minimal...no biggie, just think of something else.Any advice for someone who is really scared of needles and has to get 3 shots today?
    Dont watch them so it
For a shot in the but you usually lie down and yes you undress. Do not think about the needle just do not look at it and you will be fine. I am deathly afraid of needles and that is what I do. I think about something sweet and it does not bother me.
admittance that you're scared is good. now, what you have to do is relax. trust your doctor. don't resist the pain. it's a lot better to just let the neddle do its thing.
sometimes, if you tell them that you don't like shots they can mix them together so you may only have to get 1. i hate shots and if you don't watch, it helps
TRY NOT TO BE SO Afraid. TAKE a deep breath.
Some injections will have to be administered through the back end, but most are through the arm.

Nobody likes being poked with a needle. I would maybe ask the nurse to not tell you when they are going to inject (e.g., you are going to feel a poke) right beforehand, because that always increased my anxiety.

I just look ahead, stay calm and its over before I know it. Really shots aren't that bad, it's the anticipation of it that's the worst.
The medical personnel will usually tell you what they prefer. The important thing is to relax. If you tense up you make yourself resistant to the stick which hurts more.
Yeah... it really hurts... only kidding... just bare your butt bend over as this makes the skin firmer and hope that if it is a male nurse that you feel the right sort of prick... ooops
I really hate needles too. Just don't look and make sure that they know that you don't want to know when it happens. I hate when they tell you that they are about to stick you. Try to keep your muscles relaxed and it will hurt less. Plus I usually focus on something in the wall. My 18 month old had to shots today and that was way more tramatic than getting them myself.
If you get a shot from behind, yes, you have to stand up, and yes, you do have to lose the pants. Some doctors will just make you move them down as far as it takes to get to the fat of the hip. Others will make you take them down completely.

I was afraid of needles, too, but I started insisting on getting all shots in the arm instead of from behind. That way I could see what the doctor was doing, and I actually started to feel better about it. When they draw blood, I still have to turn away, but at least I don't faint or freak out. If you haven't had many shots before, you'll eventually get used to it. Donate blood for the Red Cross once every few months. You'll be getting over your fear while helping someone else. It's a start.
dont put in your mind you're getting the shot. feel relaxed, calmmmmmmmm, confidennnnnnnt, powerful! focus your mind to something very interesting and enjoyable. before you even know it, you have shut the initial pain those needles may give you.
don't worry, ur a guy right? I had several once, not fun. It's quick but it does sting after for a bit. No, not ur butt. No u don't undress. Only if ur over 18.
When you are getting the shot/s think of blowing up a balloon. It relaxes the muscles. It really does work!
im also really scared of getting shots. but if u sqeeze something really tight and close ur eyes it wont hurt as bad.
    How old are you.
You may have to undress, but you mgiht just be able to pull your pants down a bit. You probably don't HAVE to lay down.

Shots are really no big deal. They're quick. It won't be so bad. Just don't look when they do it.
Most of the time you feel nothing.

Do you have an Ipod? Tell the doctor not to tell you when he is gonna do it, put on your earphones, turn on the volume, play your favorite song and sing along with it.

Chances are that you won't even notice.
Close your eyes and don't watch
    Get over it.

Try going through contractions while an anestheseologist is sticking a foot-long needle in your spine, telling you not to move or it will paralize you! Then come and tell me your scared of a little vaccine!
Obviously, its too late to answer your question from one week ago, hope all went well
Well! In the contrast, I got scared of my first shots when i'm young and i got shots on my arm.
It depends on what the shot is. Most shots are given in the arm and you do not have to undress. The best advice I can give you is to sit still during the shot - it will hurt less. To prevent sorness for the next few days, after you recieve the shot move your arm around, do some push-ups and other arm exercises when you get home.
take some ice cubes with you and use them to make area cold, it will make the area dead to pain
Look the other way and try to relax as much as possible. The more tense you are, the more it will hurt. Take deep breaths and relax. You're usually sitting down when they adminster shots.
i had mine sitting down and i didn't have to undress just lowered down my jeans for the doc to inject me. it takes about a minute and alot of hushing.
