I got accepted into the top schools in my state which i am very proud of doing but i feel like im not going anywhere without any money..advice?..with..life+money?Can i get some advice please?
Hey, give yourself time to grow. Leave the worries for later.Time will sort all those problems out.Can i get some advice please?
Stay in and do better in school. Like money (obviously)? Education = More Money. Easy.
15 is a hard age with more than enough worries not to have one of them being money and college tuition. Go to your parents and let them know what you're feeling and ask for advise on options for obtaining funds for college,(as stupid as some teens think their parents are, they might be surprised just how wise those parents are!). As for spending money for books, clothes, misc. wants and needs, do some baby sitting. Even as a male, I did alot of it and it was very rewarding, getting to know the kids and having time to study and do homework when they are put to bed for the night. Check with some of your friends that do babysitting, I'm sure they can give you some advise about current ';going rates'; and where you can find those in need of a babysitter.
Definitely don't sell drugs. How could you get accepted into colleges in your area at 15? Have you already finished or nearly finished high school at 15? Either way, complete the FAFSA for financial aid. I'm assuming your parents don't make much money, so you should be able to get enough in loans, and even maybe a grant to cover tuition. Either that or go to community college first, and then transfer.
You have put yourself in a bind...whatever you give your attention to grows..your thinking of lack...go to thesecret.tv and listen to the teachers about money, if you go to secret gifts and play the video with the building on it...it helps..it is sad the first thing that comes out is to sell drugs...how bout get a fullfilling job that you love and makes you prosperous...there are alot of things that you can do now without any college...and you have pleanty of time to go to college...your young. Money is only a tool, not your worth. Dont give it any power..use your talents to find out what you love and fit it into a job...you can assure success because you love it and therefore you give quality to it....give yourself a chance...poor is only an attitude..I know lots of people with little or no money that are very happy...and on the other hand..I know lots of people that are dirt rich and they are misreable....rethink your life...change what you want and dont give your attention to what you dont want...then you can be happy with whatever money comes your way...
Okay, I grew up on welfare and it seemed like everyone had cooler stuff than I did. However, I always had my smarts which gave me hope. I knew I could be much better off in the future and have never lost that desire.

Now I have a house, a condo, and two modest cars. I'm only 27. I have a great wife, too. She's in school and I graduated from college.

You should look into financial aid for college. I did that and now have a small monthly payment that I make to pay off those student loans. I also received free money for college as well through state and federal programs. I wasn't motivated enough to apply for scholarships. That's another way to get money for college. I worked my way through school in order to pay the rest.

Dropping out of school would not be good. Don't take the dropout road. Do well in school while working on your self image. You don't need to have alot of money to fit in. Find a job that will help you earn extra money to help pay for clothes and entertainment, which are also important. Find clothes at thrift stores. (Ha, i'm actually wearing a Ralph Lauren shirt that I bought at a thrift store for 5 dollars).
I think I am worse than you. I am under dept now but I got the admission from a good university and I am going to accept it. I don鈥檛 know were do you live but I am sure there should be different types of financial helps for you. Just go to the college you are attending and talk with some body in the financial aid office. If you are not eligible for scholarship, ask for bursary or student loan. Although you have to pay it back gradually after finishing the school, but with a College diploma you will have a high chance to find a job with a good salary so that you can afford to pay your dept. there are also many part time job opportunities for college students. You should definitely consult with Financial Aid office of your College.
k, try get a job. like working as a receptionist at supercuts, or where ever else. and start investing most of the money you get paid. then use the rest for neccesities. such as: makeup, clothes, etc. even consider two jobs. DON'T DROP OUT of highschool! education is one of the mosst important parts of getting into college. try child labor, doggy walking services, babysitting, garage sells, donating blood. whatever you can do to make money. please do't sell drugs. notthe answer! keep yourself occupied w/friends family, whatever makes you happy. i would suggest buying the book : ';the book of lists for teens.'; will really help in your situation. good luck:]]
