My dog will not shut-up any advice on how to get him to be quite?

he has been barking for 2 hours straight I have done every thing i

know how to get him to shut-up it started when he saw me eating when i was done he was still barking!

He is a Yorkshire terrier.My dog will not shut-up any advice on how to get him to be quite?
he is bored and wants you to play with him. Whenever my dog barks like that i walk a couple miles to her fav park with her and play with her for an hour there and climb trees and explore the woods and she is as silent as an angle the rest of the day unless a stranger passes by.....but thats another proublem.My dog will not shut-up any advice on how to get him to be quite?
u ether spoil him too much so he expects atention all the time or dont give him enough attention if hes in a kennle and barking he wants out just ignore him you cant let him win because he is testing on how far he can go with u if hes just barking he probly want to play if he barks then a couple of minutes later he has an ';accident'; then he probobly wants to go outside good luck
maybe a safe muzzle
Get a spray bottle and squirt him. It worked for my cocker spaniel years ago, may he now rest in peace. I sprayed him once, then all I had to do was show him the bottle.
A sponge soaked in bacon grease is effective. Although it may take a few days for the full results....
My dogs are in a routine that after dinner I will go outside and play with them. If I'm too busy all that play energy has to come out somehow...usually as barking. Really try to spend some time physically excersising your dog. Fetch games really work for mine as I have a long yard and can throw toys for them to run after. I guarantee you will find him blissfully quiet and sleeping (and healthier!) in no time.

Good luck!
Well, sometimes the nose is a sensative spot for dogs so if you tap him on the nose sometimes that works. More drasticly, if he or she still doesn't stop spray him with a squirt bottle in his face. Put it on a strong mist though because i doubt you want to hurt him. Mostly its effective.
See the question ';Is this cruel to my dogs? ';
use a water gun or spray bottle ,but just a little squirt of water on them,it worked for my girlfreind.
